Review of The Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin

The Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin This is a fantasy story with three different timelines as the book starts out. We have Essun, Damaya, and Syenite. The timelines come together and I really liked how each of the story lines connected with one another. This is a story about a world where there are people called "Origins" and they have the power to cause or quell earthquakes and so much more. This story really is amazing because of how diverse this world and the people are described to be. One of the things that I really enjoyed about this book was even though there were plenty of diverse characters through out the story there were still people who didn't like some of the characters just because they weren't "normal."
